NU Lady Bulldogs Catch Fire After Shaky Start in UAAP Season 86

The NU Lady Bulldogs are proving their championship pedigree in UAAP Season 86. After a surprising loss to UST and a nail-biting five-set win over Ateneo, the Lady Bulldogs ignited with a dominant sweep over the Adamson Lady Falcons (25-17, 25-20, 25-20).

“We’re finding our rhythm,” said head coach Norman Miguel. “This three-set victory is a good sign, but the season is a marathon, not a sprint. We want to be at our best when it matters most.”

Alyssa Solomon and Bella Belen spearheaded the NU offense, scoring 17 and 15 points respectively.

Belen’s leadership on the court was a key factor in the win.

Solomon emphasized the team’s resilience: “Our patience and support for one another were crucial. We lift each other up and keep fighting.”

The Lady Bulldogs, runners-up in Season 85, look to continue their hot streak against the UP Lady Fighting Maroons on Saturday, March 2nd at the Mall of Asia Arena.
